Serbian Films at the Amsterdam Film Festival

“At Home,” a short film directed by Nenad Mikalački has received an award at the “Balkan Snapshots” festival in Amsterdam.

Films “Death of a Man in the Balkans” by Miroslav Momčilović, “Clip” by Maja Miloš, “A Practical Guide to Belgrade with Singing and Crying,” by Bojan Vuletić, as well as the documentary “Face Revolution” by Vladimir Milovanović were also screened on the festival.

Films “At Home” by Nenad Mikalački, “Guardian” by Marta Popivoda and “Time of Closeness” by Miloš Milošević were also screened as a part of the short film competition.

The festival took place from 21st to 23rd of September.

“Balkan Snapshots” is a multimedia festival which aims to present the arts and culture of Southeast Europe. The fifth edition of the event was organized under the slogan “The Artist in Charge.” The festival was an opportunity to see a selection of contemporary films from the region, with differing artistic approaches and expressions.
