Festival of Serbian Film in China

Festival of Serbian Film to take place in Beijing and Shanghai form June 18th to June 22nd 2013.

The second Festival of Serbian Film in China will be organized by the Chinese Film Bureau and State Administration for Radio, Film and Television, the Ministry of Culture and Media of Serbia as well as Film Center Serbia, with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Embassy of Serbia in Beijing and Chinese Embassy in Belgrade.

The Festival of Serbian Film in China programmed will showcase the following films: The Scent of Rain in the Balkans, directed by Ljubiša Samardžić, which will be screened at the Grand Opening, When Day Breaks by Goran Paskaljević, The Hat of Professor Kosta Vujić by Zdravko Šotra, The Belgrade Phantom by Jovan Todorović and Oh Gringo by Darko Bajić.

The four member Serbian delegation to Beijing and Shanghai consist of Radoslav Pavlović, the culture advisor to the President of Serbia, Dejan Karaklajić, the Chairman of the Board of the Films Center Serbia, Miroslav Mogorović, producer, and Tamara Dragičević, actress.

During its stay, the delegation will be present at the grand opening of the festival, on June 18th in Shanghai, where they will meet with representatives from the China Film Bureau, Chinese Film Co-production Corporation, the Shanghai International Film Festival, and Shanghai Municipal Administration for Culture, Radio, Film and TV.
