The Second Zlatibor International Festival of Sport Film

The opening ceremony of the Second international Festival of Sports Film will take place on June 29th.

During its four days, the festival-goers will have a chance to see 33 films from 17 countries, including the Portuguese Ronaldo, Samurai from Russia, Four Goals and Boxing Kingdom from the U.S.A, as well as Imam from Turkey and Requiem for Bobby Fischer from Serbia.

The first day of the festival will be marked by a new documentary by Mića Milošević, as well as 100 Years of Olympism in Serbia, Forgotten Grand Prix by Dinko Tucaković and Cross Country by Puriša Đorđević. As a side program of the festival, the Serbian Broadcasting Corporation will inaugurate an artist colony to commemorate 120 years of organized tourism in Zlatibor.

“This year’s recipient of the lifetime achievement award will be Puriša Đorđević, the author of Cross Country and The Cyclists. The award will also be given out to Franjo Mihalić, Ivo Daneu and Olivera Jevtić”, said the festival’s art director, Jovan Marković.
