Moonless Summer in Official Selection at Cannes in 2014.

The film Moonless Summer, directed by Stefan Ivančić was chosen for the official festival selection at the Cannes 2014, which this year takes place from May 14th to 25th.

Ivančić’s film will compete in the Cinéfondation category alongside 15 short films from around the world.

The film follows the story of sixteen-year-old Isidora, who, before going abroad, spends a few days in a cottage where she spent much of her childhood. Lost in the silence of the summer, she dreads the changes that are creeping ever closer...

Moonless Summer is Stefan Ivančić’s graduate film at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, made under the supervision of Srdan Golubović.
The film stars Isidora Marković, Jelisaveta Karadžić, Matija Ristić and Stefan Djordjević. The crew is: Igor Djordjević (Director of Photography), Jelena Maksimović (editor), Mlađan Matavulj (sound), Dragana Baćović (set design) and Alexander Nećakov and Nevena Pavlović (production), among others.

This is the fourth short film by Ivančić, who has previously shot successful documentaries Scrap Material materials (2012) and 1973 (2014) as well as another short, Spring Sun (2013), a coproduction between the Faculty of Dramatic Arts and Non-Aligned Films.
