THE DEED

The film opens with a femicide in a dark forest. Lake, a 25-year-old art history graduate, decides to become independent by moving into his great-grandfather's neglected countryside cottage. But even in the idyllic setting of nature, he is plagued by anxiety, sleep paralysis, and the sense that someone is watching him. When he discovers he owns land that could change his life, Lake falls in love-but the feeling of being followed doesn't go away in the small village marked by a recent murder.
