Films with Serbian participation won three Heart of Sarajevo awards at this year’s festival.

The thirty-second Sarajevo Film Festival will be held from August 14th to 21st, and this year’s festival will feature 23 films produced or co-produced in Serbia, across various festival programs.

The Serbian feature film Virus of Pathological Kindness, directed by Predrag Ličina and produced by Đorđe Vranješ, will premiere on August 19th.

Director and screenwriter Vlatko Gilić, one of the most important authors of Yugoslav and Serbian cinematography, died in Belgrade at the age of 92.

The feature film Until the Day Ends, directed by Jelena Maksimović, was selected for the official competition program of the Orizzonti Venice Film Festival.

The film will have its world premiere in the competition program Giornate degli Autori

The Italian-Serbian co-production will have its world premiere in the competitive program of the 23rd edition of the Authors’ Day (Giornate degli Autori).
