RAFFAI ANNA

Raffai Anna celebrated her 96th birthday in June 2022. Her daily life was still filled with joy, which is contributed by the cat, visits of cousin Ilona Pajić and an old neighbour lady. Anna doesn't forget sad and happy events from her long life and arranges her memories just like an old family photo album. However, the recent broadcast of a radio portrait of her on Radio Bgd2 in her house triggers memories in a way never before experienced. After some time, Anna listens to the radio broadcast in which she spoke and relives her dramatic life, full of twists and turns, ups and downs, listening to this retrospective as someone "outside" from her own habitus. The memories triggered by the sound are described by frames, photographs, animated drawings, and overwhelming emotions are eased by the desire to live that goes beyond boundaries of everyday life.
