The film is inspired by bioengineering, the cyborgization of humans, and the hidden, dark side of
humanity is the meta-theme of the film. The main character is a serial killer, who chooses people from the margins as his victims. With them, he feeds his plant, a man-eater, which in return bears money as fruit.
