A contract between the two states abolished travel visas between China and Yugoslavia in 1989. Since then, Chinese people started coming to Serbia in increasing numbers. A lot of them came for good. According to unofficial data, there are over 7.000 of them. Three thousand of them are living in Belgrade alone. Nevertheless, apart from the places where they work and several urban legends, we know almost nothing about them. I managed to find out a bit more about these strange gastarbeiters living in Belgrade. At the same time, I also tried to find answers to questions such as: the reason for their arrival, what is their religion, how do they integrate themselves. Thus, I discovered a lot of interesting and strange details. This is a film that represents life of an ethnic minority in Serbia and sheds light on their pretty unusual religious choice. Besides this, the documentary also shows the life of Serbs from the perspective of the Chinese immigrants and discovers a bit more about their personal, everyday life among the natives in Belgrade.
