THREE HATS FOR KEEPS

The area where the settlement of Padinska Skela stands today was never conceived for the life of man. Indeed, it is also debatable whether it was ever conceived for a life fit for any mammal whatsoever? This film tells us a story about the last days of the place, which is exactly as it was established after the decision of the Communist party in 1945. It also evocates important historical events from its history, such as are visits of few dictators, and politicians of the Cold War period (Che Guevarra, Nicolae Chausescu, J.B.Tito, Saddam Hussein). It also summs the achievements of its 60-year history as the wrong living place, at the end of an ampty railroad, with psychiatry, jailhouse and elementary school placed in a very center of settlement, from introspective narration of its protagonists.
