At the closing ceremony of the Adriatic Film Awards, Mladen Đorođević’s film Working Class Goes to Hell, won two awards out of six categories it was nominated in. The first prize that was awarded during the evening, for the best rising star, went to Lidija Kordić, who portrays the character of Danica in the film. The second prize was awarded to Leon Lučev, who portrays the character of Mia in the film, for the best male role.

The Adriatic Film Awards launched the Author’s Film Festival, Sarajevo Film Festival and Zagreb Film Festival, building on the tradition of the Heart of Sarajevo award for television series, expanding the concept to include film productions as well. The award winners were chosen by a professional jury consisting of more than 560 founding members of the Adriatic Film and TV Academy, from different professions in the film industry and from different countries of the region.
