The feature film Accomplices directed by Marko Novaković was included in the official selection of the international Winter Film Festival, which will be held in New York from February 18th to 22nd. The film had its world premiere in November 2025 at the Arpa International Film Festival in Los Angeles.

Accomplices is a psychological and social drama with elements of a thriller, in which the idyllic life of the main characters, Sofia and Branko, suddenly changes after a car accident. Thanks to Branko’s influence in a small town in Serbia, the couple avoids the consequences, but Sofia finds it increasingly difficult to accept such a reality. The guilt and conscience that haunts them gradually destroys their relationship and triggers a series of unexpected events.

The main roles are played by Nevena Nerandžić and Radovan Vujović, while the film also stars Anica Dobra, Danica Ristovski, Zoran Cvijanović, Milica Janevski, Zlatan Vidović, Anita Ognjanović and Jovan Belobrković, as well as actors from the region: Stojan Matavulj and Hana Japundžić (Croatia), Sara Klimoska (North Macedonia), Faketa Salihbegović-Avdagić (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Petar Novaković (Montenegro).

The film was produced by Zillion Film from Belgrade, with minority co-producers Inter Film (Croatia) and Partysans (North Macedonia), as well as with the support of Telekom Srbija. The producer of the film is Lazar Ristovski, and the executive producer is Jovan Ristovski.

The script is written by Ognjen Obradović, the director of photography is Bojan Rakić (SAS), the editor is Petar Šumonja, the set designer is Irena Marjanov, the costume designer is Snežana Karl, while the original music was composed by Vladimir Pejković. The sound designers are Velibor Hajduković and Nebojša Zorić.

The film was supported via competition organized by Film Center Serbia in 2020, as well as in the competitions of the Croatian Audiovisual Center and the Film Agency of North Macedonia in 2022, and was realized with a significant contribution from AP Vojvodina and MTEL of the Republic of Srpska, with thanks to the cities of Užice and Novi Sad.
