The Frontières Platform in Cannes is a dedicated section of industry programming & networking events for the genre film industry at the Marché du Film. The Frontières Platform is a co-presentation between the Fantasia International Film Festival and the Marché du Film – Festival de Cannes, and is co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.
Frontières Platform Programme includes :
- Proof of Concept Presentation – Presentation of proofs of concepts from the Frontières Finance & Packaging Forum participants, followed by an invitation-only networking lunch
- Goes to Cannes – Buyers Showcase – Presentation of 4 genre films in post-production, seeking sales agents. Sales agents, distributors and festival programmers are given an opportunity to discover genre films in progress. Presented as part of the Goes to Cannes section
- Fantastic Fanatics Mixer – invitation-only networking cocktail at the Plage des Palmes for the genre community, to be co-presented with likeminded genre industry events
