Adriatic Film and TV Academy (AFA), which was founded by members of the Festival Network of the Adriatic Region – Sarajevo Film Festival, Belgrade Film Festival and Zagreb Film Festival – awarded prestigious awards to the best film and television productions and authors in the region. The awards were decided by more than 550 film workers, and presented in a total of ten categories.

The opening ceremony of the AFA awards was held in the newly opened cinema Cine Grand Epic, within the exclusive complex Porto Montenegro – Boka Place, while the awards ceremony took place on October 25th, with screenings of the nominated works.

Rising star – Lidija Kordić for her role in the film Working Class Goes to Hell.

Best actor in a TV series – Dragan Mićanović for his role in the TV series Operation Saber .

The best actress in a TV series – Milica Gojković for her role in the TV series Operation Saber.


Best TV series – Operation Saber, authored by Vladimir Tagić and Goran Stanković, which also won the highest number of awards of the evening.

Best debut film – Little Trouble Girls by director Urška Djukić.

Best screenplay and best direction – Igor Bezinović for the film Fiume o Morte!

Best film actor – Leon Lučev for his role in the film Working Class Goes to Hell, directed by Mladen Đorđević.

Best movie actress – Jara Sofia Ostan for her role in the movie Little Trouble Girls.

This year’s AFA awards once again confirmed the importance of regional cooperation and promoted new author names and acting talents that shape the future of film and television art in the Adriatic region.
