It is with heavy hearts that Film Center Serbia mourns the passing of the prominent Yugoslav director and visionary filmmaker Veljko Bulajić.

“Kafka in Belgrade”, directed by Maša Nešković and produced by Maja Medić and Ene Bajraktarević, received The DOK Leipzig Accelerator Award.

The feature-length hybrid documentary Warm Film premiered on March 10th 2024 as part of the official program of the Thessaloniki International Festival.

Heroes of Halliard had the honor of being the first Serbian film in history to be shown in the US Congress on Capitol Hill.

On March 1st and 2nd in Belgrade, Film Center of Serbia played host to the directors and managers of film and audio-visual centers of Slovenia, Croatia, Republika Srpska, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Moldova and Greece.

The independent film center Filmart from Požega, organizers of Interaction 2024 film camp, has announced several open calls for participation in the nineteenth Student Film Camp, the twelfth edition of the Documentary Film Workshop, as well as the third edition of the Short Documentary Film Festival.

Traditionally, Film Center Serbia is also present at this year’s Berlin International Film Festival as part of the European Film Market (EFM).
