Renowned director Branislav Kičić, the father of actor Gordan Kičić, has died at the age of 78.

Born on September 6th, 1947 in Belgrade, Branislav Kičićwill be remembered as the director of numerous film, television and theater productions.

He directed Magnet, Bridge on the Drina, That’s Me, Wait for Me and I will Not Come, Testament, as well as popular theater plays, including the longest-running play on Belgrade stages, Love Letter.

As a director employed at the Serbian Broadcasting Corporation, he recorded numerous significant theater performances in the TV theater, such as the Theater Practicum, an important record of the history of our modern theater through conversations with Ljubomir Mucij-Draškić.
