Žiža Stojanović was a prominent member of troops of Niš, Novi Sad and Belgrade Theaters. She played more than 120 roles during her theatrical career.
Žiža Stojanović passed away on June 27 at the age of 95.
Some of the most memorable roles of ere decades-spanning carrer were in famous Serbian TV series like Srećni ljudi, Diplomci, Salaš u Malom Ritu, Otpisani, Bolji život, Parodično blago, Ljubav, navika, panika and Vratiće se rode. She also appearedin the films Povratak otipisanah, Balkan Express 2 and Tesna koža 3.
She was born on November 19th, 1930 in Belgrade. After World War Two, she enrolled in the Third Women’s High School and became a member of the Belgrade cultural association “Abrašević”, which launched her proffesional theater, and later television and film career.
