The film Wind, talk to me, directed by Stefan Đorđević, will have its regional premiere as part of the competition program of the 31st Sarajevo Film Festival, which takes place from August 15th to Augsut 22nd, 2025.

The film was co-produced by Serbia, Slovenia and Croatia, and is another strong showing by Stefan Đorđević, known for his poetic and visually striking films dealing with personal, social and environmental issues.

Inspired by the director’s personal experiences, the film follows Stefan, who after the death of his mother returns home for the first time to celebrate his grandmother’s birthday with his family. Driven by the desire to finish the film about his mother and to help the injured family dog, returning home becomes the beginning of his journey to healing. The authenticity of the story is further enhanced by the fact that members of the director’s family act in the film, working together to restore Neca’s caravan.

The roles in the film are played by: Negrica Đorđević, Stefan Đorđević, Boško Đorđević, Đorđe Davidović, Budimir Jovanović, Ljiljana Jovanović, Marina Davidović, Vidak Davidović, Ana Petrović, Jana Mihajlović, Jakov Mihajlović and the dog Lija.

The film was produced by Dragana Jovović (Non-Aligned Films), with co-producers Stefan Ivančić, Ognjen Glavonić and Stefan Đorđević (Katunga), as well as Vanja Jambrović (Restart, Croatia), Jožka Rutar (SPOK Films, Slovenia) and Miha Černec (Staragara, Slovenia).

The film was supported by Film Center Serbia, Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, Media Fund of the European Union, Slovenian Film Center, Viba Film, the Croatian Audiovisual Center and the Swiss fund Vision Sud Est.

In the post-production phase, the film participated in several industry programs such as Les Arcs Work in Progress, where it won a special jury award, and First Cut Lab RE-ACT 2023, as well as the 38th edition of the Bolzano Film Festival Bozen (BFFB) in Italy, where the film won the Grand Prize for the best film in the competition program.
