Film Center Serbia wishes to inform all interested parties that, in accordance with the Regulation on the Application of Time Limits in Administrative Procedures during a State of Emergency (Official Gazette of RS, Nos. 41/2020 and 43/2020), which is in force since March 24, 2020, the competition juries will officially convene the first day after the state of emergency is lifted, when the procedure for the selection of projects will formally commence.

The competition juries which commenced their work before the entry into force of the said Regulation will continue to operate on the first day following the lifting of the state of emergency.

APPENDIX 1: Notice (23rd of March 2020)

Film Center Serbia wishes to inform all interested parties that, following the instructions and measures of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia, due to the state of emergency due to the COVID 19 virus, it is postponing the announcement and implementation of the Public Competition in the category of Project Development – Agreement of the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of France on Cinematographic Production, as well as the category of Pre-digitization and digitization of cinemas, the announcement of which was planned for March 25th and April 1st, respectively, until the state of emergency is lifted.

For competitions whose application date has not expired, the process of collecting the documentation by e-mail continues as usual. The submitted documentation will be forwarded to the selection boards for consideration.

Also, in accordance with the prescribed measures of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the procedure for drafting proposals and deciding on the final selection of projects of the selection juries, according to the announced calls for proposals in the previous period, is postponed until further notice.

APPENDIX 2: Notice(1st of April 2020)

Film Center Serbia wishes to inform all parties interested for the competition for Financing the promotion and development of film scripts that the mandatory certified statement of the screenwriter may be submitted at a later date, that is, within 15 days from the date of termination of the state of emergency, due to the dynamics of the work of notaries during the COVID-19 virus pandemic, which involves acting only in especially urgent and justifiable situations.
