The Management Board of the Belgrade International Film Festival FEST has reached a decision to postpone the upcoming, 49th edition of the festival, which is now scheduled for May 7th to 16th 2021, on the account of the current epidemiological circumstances.

This year’s FEST is being prepared and will take place under the slogan “Back to the Future” with the aim to facilitate a more significant return of audiences to cinemas, as the largest and most famous film event in the country and the region.

This year’s program will present more than 70 films from all over the world, grouped in several program units, which the audience will be able to watch in the halls of the Sava Center, Kombank Hall, Belgrade Youth Center and Cineplexx Gallery Belgrade.

CEBEF, as the organizer of the festival, notes that the programs will be held in strict compliance with all measures of the Crisis Staff for the Suppression of Infectious Diseases Covid-19, and invites FEST audiences to apply for vaccination in the meantime, as the safest form of virus protection.
