The phantasmagoric drama, created with the support of Film Center Serbia, is having an exciting festival run – from its premiere and editing awards at the Venice festival, over the recent triumph at the Belgrade Original Film Festival, to the latest award for best director won in the capital of Thailand.

The jury’s explanation states: “Due to the courage to use a non-narrative way of portraying the inner and physical journey of a woman, through one of the strongest acting performances of this year, uncompromising in its unforgettable images, in a stunning visionary debut, the award for best director deservedly goes to the Serbian film Have You Seen This Woman?

On the occasion of winning the award in Bangkok, Gluščević and Zorić announced: “We have been dreaming about visiting Thailand for a long time, but we could not dream that it would be with our film that would find an audience on the other side of the world. To be honest, we are surprised by the award considering that the competition program was composed of 20 films that were successful at the most important world festivals.”

The world premiere of the film was held at the 79th Venice Film Festival, where editor Olga Košarić received a special award in the category of artist under 40 years of age. At the recently concluded 28th Author’s Film Festival in Belgrade, the film also won the Grand Prix “Aleksandar Saša Petrović”. The film tells the story of a medieval woman, Draginja, who tries to get out of her skin through three different lives. The main role in the film is played by one of the most prolific actresses in the region, Ksenija Marinković.
