The Serbian feature film Accomplices directed by Marko Novaković was included in the official selection of the 28th edition of the Arpa International Film Festival, which will be held in Los Angeles from November 6th to November 9th 2025. The world premiere of the film will be held at the famous Chinese Theater on Hollywood Boulevard.

The realization was filmed in the production of Belgrade’s “Zillion Film”, with the participation of co-producers from Croatia (“Inter Film”) and North Macedonia (“Partysans”). The producer of the film is Lazar Ristovski, while the executive producer is Jovan Ristovski, and the script was written by Ognjen Obradović.

Accomplices combines elements of psychological and social drama with a thriller atmosphere. The story follows Sofia and Branko, whose seemingly idyllic life changes after a car accident. While Branko’s influence in the small town allows them to avoid the consequences, a guilty conscience becomes an insurmountable obstacle that leads to a series of unexpected events.

The main roles were played by Nevena Nerandžić and Radovan Vujović, and the film also stars Anica Dobra, Danica Ristovski, Zoran Cvijanović, Milica Janevski, Zlatan Vidović, Anita Ognjanović and Jovan Belobrković. In addition to Serbian actors, the production includes artists from the region: Stojan Matavulj and Hana Japundžić (Croatia), Sara Klimoska (North Macedonia), Faketa Salihbegović-Avdagić (BiH) and Petar Novaković (Montenegro).

The creative team consists of director of photography Bojan Rakić (SAS), editor Petar Šumonja, stage designer Irena Marjanov, costume designer Snežana Karl, composer Vladimir Pejković, and sound designers Velibor Hajduković and Nebojša Zorić.

The film is supported by Film Center Serbia, the Croatian Audio-Visual Center, the Film Agency of North Macedonia, as well as AP Vojvodina, Telekom Srbija and MTEL of Republika Srpska. Special thanks go to the cities of Užice and Novi Sad.
