Marko Matović was awarded at the International Festival Imago in Italy, for the music he composed for the film “Spring Song” directed by Natalija Avramović. This is the first award for music in a debut production, and it bears the name of the famous, recently deceased composer Bart Bakarak.

The film follows Petra, a young director, a single mother, who is trying to normalize her life after a divorce, and is preparing to make a film about the poet Desanka Maksimović.

Natalija Avramović directed “Spring Song” based on the script she wrote together with Ljubinka Stojanović. The director of photography is Dimitrije Joković Džima, the editor is Ana Radojičić, and the scenographer and costume designer is Anna Kolbianova.

The film stars: Mihaela Stamenković, Ivan Đorđević Džudi, Đorđe Đoković, Milan Kolak, Svetozar Cvetković, Danica Maksimović, Ana Mandić, Gavrilo Avramović, Dušan Stanikić, Miloš Milovanović, Radovan Vujović and others.

“Spring Song” has had a very successful festival life so far, which includes awards: awards for the director and for the main actress (Mihaela Stamenković) at the International Film Festival Cine Art in Nicosia, Cyprus, the award for the best female role to Mihaela Stamenković at the ” Festival del Cinema d’IDEA” in Rome, Italy, the third prize for the screenplay and the special prize of the jury of journalists and film critics at the Film Screenplay Festival in Vrnjačka Banja, the “Mira Stupica” award for the best female role to Mihaela Stamenković at “SOFEST ” in Sopot, a special award at the “SeeOnline Film Festival Cinesquare” in Skopje.
