As part of the 29th Author’s Film Festival, the eighth consecutive French-Serbian film meetings will be held from November 28th to November 30th. The European Film Academy (EFA) has announced the expanded list of films that have been shortlisted for nominations for this year’s EFA awards. Another 21 films were added, and the organizers point out that more than 40 percent of the featured films were directed by women.
The Yugoslav Cinematheque and the Slovenian Cinematheque in Ljubljana are jointly marking 90 years since the birth and 25 years since the death of prominent Serbian and Yugoslav director Živojin Žika Pavlović (1933-1998), who spent a significant part of his career in Slovenia.
