It is with heavy hearts that everyone at Film Center Serbia mourns the passing of the prominent Yugoslav director and visionary filmmaker Veljko Bulajić.

Veljko Bulajić died at the age of 96. He was born in 1928 in the town of Vilusi, halfway between Trebinje and Nikšić.

Bulajić is an author whose films have achieved great success among domestic and foreign viewers. Kozara, Train Without a Timetable, Assassination in Sarajevo and Battle on the Neretva are at the top of the list of the most watched films in the former Yugoslavia.
