The Network of Serbian Cinema Operators conference “See you in the cinema: a step into the future” is taking place from November 24th to 26th in Zlatibor, as part of the regular annual meeting of this Network.
The conference brings together over 70 representatives of film operators from 48 cities and municipalities in Serbia, as well as representatives of Europa Cinemas, MEDIA Desk Serbia, Art Cinema Network of Slovenia, Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade and Green Art Incubator. FCS acting director Ivan Karl will open the proceedings. The conference program takes place over three days, and includes lectures, panel discussions and trainings on the topics of good practices in the context of the development of regional cooperation – with the participation of representatives of cinema exhibitors of Slovenia and Montenegro, sustainable practices of cinemas, presentation of opportunities for applying – especially the MEDIA sub-program of the European Union, as well as a film program, which includes the screening of Alive and Healthy by director and screenwriter Ivan Marinović .
On the last day, the regular assembly of the Network will take place, with the aim to coordinate strategies for further development and plan joint programs and projects in the coming period.
