The short film Little One, directed by Danilo Bećković, has been included in the official programs of international film festivals in Asia, Europe and North America.

After screening at the 3rd International Film Festival in Kathmandu, Nepal last February, the film will be screened in March at festivals in Landshut, Germany (Landshut Short Film Festival), and in Moscow, Russia (Russian International Horror Film Awards), with a North American premiere at the 21st edition of the Newport Beach Film Festival in late April.

The Newport Festival is one of the most important film shows in California, with an average attendance of nearly 60,000 viewers from and around Los Angeles, and is also a major industrial event bringing together numerous Hollywood actors, directors, producers, and distributors in search of new acquisitions. The festival owes its reputation, among other things, to the “discovery” of 2005’s Crash by Paul Haggis, which later won an Academy Award for Best Picture that year.

The film stars the young Finnish actor Oni Tomila, renowned for his roles in Rare Exports and Big Game, as well as Кatarina Žutić and Slaviša Čurović, with a debut by Darija Vračević.

The screenplay is by Dimitrije Vojnov, and the film was directed by Danilo Bećković,produced by Marko Paljić and Jordanče Petkovski. The DOP was Dušan Ivanović, the composer Marko Кon, set design was by Jelena Milinović, editing by Aleksandar Popović, and costumes by Ivana Stojanović.

The film was produced by Mali Budo and Gargantua films, with the support of the Film Center of Serbia and the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia, as well as the Mladenovac Center for Culture and Tourism.
