The noted documentary Occupied Cinema, directed by Senka Domanović, will be screened at the International Rotterdam Film Festival, as a part of the Perspectives section.

Occupied Cinema is another in a long series of new documentaries supported by the Film Center Serbia. It deals with the overarching social phenomenon of occupation of the Belgrad “Zvezda” cinema theater. The film follows young activists and events during the occupation, from 2014 onwards. They are Mina Đukić, Luka Bursać, Kosta Ristić, Hana Selimović, Ivan Velisavljević, Dobrica Veselinović, Iva Čukić, Milanka Beba Janošević, Ivan Zlatić, Radomir Lazović, Nebojša Radošević, Srđan Keča, Marko Aksentijević and others.

The films is a Serbian-Croatian co-production, and besides Film Center Serbia, it ws also supported the Croatian Audiovisual Center. The producers are This and That Films and Nucleus Films, respectively, Snežana Penev and Siniša Jurić. The director of photography is Siniša Dugonjić, who was also the sound engineer. Ivan Zelić did the design and mix of the sound. The film was edited by Mina Nenadović, and the music was composed by Hrvoje Nikšić. The runtime is 87 minutes.
