The Serbian feature film Bullets over Marseille directed by Gordan Matić won as many as six awards at the Creation International Film Festival (CIFF) in Los Angeles, launched seven years ago. The film received awards for best historical drama, best screenplay, best acting ensemble, best costumes, best sound, and the best colorization of the picture. On that occasion, this Serbian production was described as an “incredibly powerful docudrama”.

The film follows the trial of the terrorists Zvonimir Pospišil, Mio Kralj and Ivan Rajić, who were accomplices of Vlada Georgiev Chernozemski in the assassination of King Alexander of Yugoslavia and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, Louis Barthou, on October 9th, 1934. in Marseille, France.
