The sixth edition of the Doc’n’Rhythm festival, according to the organizers take place in June 2021, if the epidemiological situation allows, and in accordance with anti-covid measures in force in the Republic of Serbia. In the last year, many important local and regional musical artists have passed away. The sixth edition of the Dok’n ’Ritam festival will be dedicated to them – in honor of all the musical greats who have recently left us.

Doc’n’Rhythm 2021 wil be called Sixth Sense, and aims to bring closer to the public the mission of the festival, which, now more than ever, is becoming an urgent need: to presreve the works and their creators’ legacy, music and documents – which, in a sense, is like awakening one’s own sixth sense. The sense that receives essential information at a time when the world is changing at breakneck speed and under frightening circumstances. When for the second year in a row our senses are of touch, our taste and smell live under a mask, having a sixth sense (s) remains becomes more important than ever.

The submission are open until April 25th, 2021.

The festival is looking for music documentaries produced in the last two years; the duration of the film is not specified, but the films fall into one of two categories: domestic and international selection. Two awards are given: the the audience award, and the jury award, which consists of a replica of the sculpture by sculptor Vitold Košir and a cash prize subsidized by Film Center Serbia.
