The eighth filmmaking festival “Image in Motion” begins on Friday, December 15tg at 7:00 p.m. with the screening of the film Guardians of the Formula in the Cultural Center of Novi Sad. During the two days of the festival, six feature films will be shown.
In the competitive part of the program, films from last year’s and this year’s Serbian production will be shown: Have You Seen This Woman, Guardians of the Formula, Storm, Heroes of Halliard, Three and Coma. After the screenings, discussions with directors of photography will be held.
The mentioned films will compete for the award for the best cinematography awarded by a three-member expert jury, this year consisting of: Director of Photography Jelena Stanković SAS, Predrag Pega Popović SAS and Rosenlund John Christian FNF. Since this festival represents a kind of congress of DOP professionals, camera students, videographers and young directors of photography will have the opportunity to participate in two masterclass programs – one by director of photography Nebojša Bašić SAS and the other by director of photography Rosenlund John Christian FNF from Norway. Applications for free participation in the masterclass programs are open, and the rich festival program will be complemented by screenings of student short films.
