The official part of the program of the 17th Zagreb Film Festival has wrapped up. In addition to the award for Ivana the Terrible, which we have already written about, a Serbian short film The Last Image of Father has also been awarded. The short film jury included screenwriter Stefan Bošković, director of Classic TV Maja Jelišić-Kuper and director Mladen Stanić. They decided the winners of the “Golden Wheelbarrow” in the international short program and in the program of Croatian short meter, named “Dice”. The best international short film was The Last Image of Father and the jury’s reasoning is the following: “The filmis a poignant story of a father-son relationship. The author evoked the gravity of the relationship and the situation in which the characters are. ” It is the fourth award for this film after its world premiere in Locarno in August 2019.
The film was directed Stefan Đorđević, who also wrote the screenplay.  Additional screenwriting credits go to Jelena Gavrilović and Andrijana Stojković, who has also produced the film alongside co-producer Marija Lero. The DOP is Damjan Radovanović, editing is by Dragan von Petrović, set design by Dragana Baćović, and costumes by Biljana Grgur. Bojan Pivaš is the assistant director and line producers are Nevena Petrović and Čarna Vučinić. The film was produced by All Inclusive Films and Emote Production, as well as Antitalent from Croatia, Staragara from Slovenia and Minos Nikolakakis from Greece. The film stars: Igor Benčina, Marko Matić, Marina Redžepović, Silvija Stojanovska, Martin Knapp, Mina Nikolić, Suzana Vuković, Borivoje Božanić.
