This year’s Night Visions Festival in Helsinki, the oldest and largest international festival dedicated to horror, science fiction, fantasy and action films in Finland, will also include the Serbian short  The Little One by director Danilo Becković. The festival, launched back in 1997, will take place from November 20th to 24th.

The festival will see many recent genre hits (Parasite, Knives Out, First Love, The Painted Bird, The Art of Self-Defense, Depraved, Satanic Panic, Synchronic…) and this year’s festival will honor noted genre directors Jack Shoulder and Ruggero Deodato.

The screenplay is by Dimitrije Vojnove, the director is Danilo Bećković, and the film is produced by Marko Paljić i Jordanče Petkovski. Dušan Ivanović is the DOP, the film us scored by Marko Кon, the set design is by Jelena Milinović, editing by Aleksandar Popović, and costume design by Ivana Stojanović. The film stars the young Finnish actor Onni Tommila, who has found success with films Rare Exports and Big Game, where he was cast alongside Samuel L. Jacskon. The cast also includes Кatarina Žutić and Slaviša Čurović, with Darija Vračević in her film debut.

The film was produced by Mali Budo and Gargantua films, and supported by Film Center Serbia and the Ministry of Culture and Information of Serbia, as well as the Center for culture and tourism of the city of Mladenovac. The co-producing companies are Cineplanet, Vertigo, Digitalkraft and Mosquito.
